We will be running "off-peak" room specials throughout the season with rooms starting at under $99 per night double occupancy based on date, availability and the number of guests.
For our many repeat guests, we are initiating a new "frequent guest" program which can include free room nights and/or dinner certificates at some of the Island's popular restaurants.
In keeping with our commitment to continuously improve The Lilac House and its experience for our guests, over the past year we have added both new luxurious Egyptian Cotton and advanced, environmentally friendly, microfiber linen along with some very attractive ceiling fans and light fixtures to replace and/or augment the tabletop fans in our guest rooms for those few days each year when it actually does get a little warmer here.
Just for general information, we here at The Lilac House do NOT have televisions in the rooms. As my Mother, God rest her soul, so eloquently put it years ago when someone asked her why, "Well, if you come all the way to Mackinac Island just to sit in your room and watch TV, perhaps you should have made different plans..." However, in an acknowledgment to the information age we now live in, we do offer complimentary wireless internet service for our guests so they might keep in touch with the modern world outside of Mackinac...

If you have any comments, good or bad, or any issues during your stay with us, we simply ask you to please allow us the opportunity to respond and/or resolve those issues BEFORE making any negative comments on any travel review sites - that's only fair and something we always do for others.
